I never new this man in any personal sense of the word, only though the media, but when I read that his parents refused to claim his body I was deeply disturbed. I can't imagine what kind of issues would stop a mother from loving her son in this fashion but it seems that she did. I find that read when I read comments like yours it somehow helps put a human touch to this story and I want to thank you for helping Russell be a normal sot of kid to all of us that read it. Who can't relate to kids playing or having a sleepover at a buddy's house? I find that I enjoy knowing Russell was a LOTR fan. How very normal and common a thing and how very nice it was of you to share it. It's very special that you wrote with such kindness and generosity.
